Thunder and Lightning, Very, Very Frightening…

We just experienced the biggest, loudest, scariest crack of lightning I’ve ever heard. We know that it hit down somewhere down the beach from us, not exactly sure where though. We were watching 24 and all of my limbs flew into the air and we both thought it was an explosion. Granted, living here, in coup land, you sort of get sensitive to things. Anyway, it was big, it was bad, it was scary. So much so that my heart was pounding in my chest and every appendage was shaking for a while.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
