Things That Just Aren’t Right

I looked up the temperature for St. Marc just out of curiosity.

High: 90 F
Low: 74 F
Humidity: 70%

Then I looked up the temperature for Armstrong where I’m from.

High: 97 F (for the record, we usually do this in Celsius)
Low: 64 F
Humidity: 47%

Now, what’s wrong with this picture?

Um, Armstrong is in BC. BC is in Canada. I knew we had hot summers there – I’ve been telling my husband this for the last two years. I didn’t ever compare the temperature at any given time to Haiti. Like Chris said though…97 F in BC with 20% less humidity will always be better than 90 F in Haiti.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
