My Brain Can’t Think Of A Title

Man, I’m pooped. Seriously feeling like I could sleep for a week. That, however, won’t be happening any time soon :(

*Late edit – I can’t believe I forgot Barb. Just more proof of my state of mind.

This picture was taken by Carolyn on Sunday at the missionary meeting that we go to. Really it’s just a group of us that get together to do a Bible study and pray. We do this every two weeks. They’re a great bunch of people. We’ve sort of turned into each others main support group and family here in Haiti. Karen, Danny, Brad, Wes and Janice are working at Canaan. Mike & Marion live in Montrouis. Gary & Carolyn are in St. Marc and so is Barb. Drew, Alan & Mable are our guests for the week.

Yesterday we had a lay low morning because everyone was feeling pretty tired from the adventures in St. Marc the day before. I took the group up to Canaan, the orphanage up the road from us for lunch. We had a great visit with everyone and Pastor Henri gave our visitors a good tour of the place.

Today the group will be going on some deliveries with Jean and our workers. Chris was feeling sick yesterday so he’s going to take it easy today and I’m going to use the morning to try and get some things ready for Mom and Dad. I’m not sure how busy tomorrow will be and Saturday we have to leave early.

That’s all from here.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
