3 Months

Man, three months! How and when did she get to be this big? I swear the kid has just grown again in the last few days, noticeably. It’s such a fun time too, as she’s figuring out more about her world. Some of her recent accomplishments have included:

*Sleeping through the night. For one week. Then deciding to wake up again. Just because she can.
*Being able to sit up with just a little help.
*Babbling. A lot.
*Smiling. A lot.
*Rolling over.
*Realizing that she can control her hands.
*Realizing that she could connect her hand with her mouth.
*Realizing that she could get both hands to her mouth and that two hands were definitely better than one.
*Being able to let Mom know she’s tired just by rubbing her eyes and wiggling a lot. Then falling asleep as soon as she hits her bed.
*Discovering that sitting at the computer desk or table is fun. Of course this includes seeing things in front of her that are so very tempting. Now if only they were just a little closer…
*Discovering that she has the ability to charm everyone that she comes in contact with.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
