We’re a bunch of sickies

Yesterday afternoon a freight train fever landed in our house and Chris and I both fell within the same hour. I had been feeling tired and achy all afternoon, but by 3 pm we were both in bed feeling like we were dying. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so bad. Chris kept telling me that he was sad Olivia was going to grow up without a father. Thankfully some fabulous friends of ours were able to come over for a few hours and entertain Olivia (who is totally fine), and I guess us (thanks ladies!). The fevers are coming and going so we’re going to be lying low for the next few days. If you don’t hear from us we’re probably dead.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
