There’s a whole lot of squealing and shrill laughter in the house right now. Olivia has her first little neighborhood friend over and is LOVING it. Tarifka is Yonese’s granddaughter and is about 6 months younger than Olivia. We’ve been asking for Yonese to bring her over to play for a while but she wanted to wait until Tarifka was a little more stable on her feet before subjecting her to the force that is Olivia.
I know some of the pictures are blurry. It’s hard to catch a flurry of activity and I think my camera settings are a bit off. What I do know is that Olivia LOVES other kids and she’s intense in her expression of that. Lots of kisses and hugs and wanting to basically knock them over with enthusiasm. There is also LOTS of giggling and running going on. I think a certain someone is going to be exhausted later. And no, I’m not talking about me ;)
We miss Daddy, but we’re also having fun filling up on our “Lady Time”. Bobi was over for the night on Friday, Barb has been here almost every night since she got back and I *may* have taught Olivia how to say, “No boys, just girls,” yesterday. Maybe. It could have been the dog too.
