Please Pray

We haven’t updated much on the van fire situation because there hasn’t been much to tell other than that things weren’t moving. Until today.

Today we got a visit from the second in command of Haiti’s national police. Chris has been working with him for the last few months to try and get something happening. Today that man, and two other police officers that were with him, arrested one of the guys that we have an arrest mandate for.
As I’m writing they’re in St. Marc trying to put the guy behind bars. Please, please, please pray that this will be the beginning to the end for us. There are so many things that could happen, like people not honoring the arrest warrant, or him being let go the next day. Pray that the arrest sticks and that it will be the first of a few that need to take place.
Also, we would love your prayers over the next few days. We are anticipating that there will be some unhappy people in the neighborhood that might want to give us some problems and we’re really going to be praying against that.
Gotta run, but will update as there is news.

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.

  1. I am praying right now. Thank you for your honesty and updates. It is like God gave you that calm before another storm.
    Stay strong in Him.
