So there with you kid

This morning we were up early. In the process of trying to take care of last minute things I had to wake Olivia up to get her dressed and ready for the day before staff prayer. Not an abnormal wake up time for her. I went into her room and saw her wiggle in her bed. Turned on the lamp, saw her squirm again, and gently said, “Good morning.”

Okay, so someone was a bit cranky this morning. To top it off, when I asked her if she had a good sleep I got a “NO GOOD SLEEP!!”

Dear sweet Olivia, I’m writing these things down now so I can torture you with them later on in life. Like on the day you get married. Or do something really important.

PS. I love you ;)

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.

  1. That sounds exactly like my daughter Lily. So funny! She went through a phase where we would say I love you to her and she would say I no wanna love you. So funny!
