The goodies from the coop

The three eggs on the right side (two light ones and the speckled one) are ours, and the rest are from the chickens that the church down the road has. I love that Yonese started buying the eggs from the church. It helps support local development, and they're so much yummier.

This is Penny and Beaky. Penny is our egg mama and is a little self-conscious. Beaky has a mutant beak, quite possibly from having it trimmed in an effort to eliminate crazy attack pecking.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
