One Step Closer

Yesterday we got a last minute phone call to go to Port to have an adoption meeting. We threw ourselves together (I actually had to get myself home from St. Marc so we could go) and hopped in the car. As is becoming the norm whenever we have an important meeting in Port for adoption stuff, Liv threw up all over herself and the car seat on the way. We are apparently a good vomit control team though and had everything cleaned up in about 10 minutes and were on the road again.

The meeting went amazingly well and was nothing of what we anticipated. The whole thing was a God thing. There were some very cool things that happened that were nothing short of small miracles.

We are in the home stretch.

Please keep our family in your prayers. We know that you are praying for us, we can feel it, and we can see God working in very tangible ways. We are feeling more hopeful and excited about what the coming weeks may bring for us. We’ll keep you posted.

About Leslie

I'm Leslie. Wife. Mother. Missionary. In the day to day my husband and I are responsible for running Clean Water for Haiti, a humanitarian mission that builds and distributes water filters to Haitian families. Living in Haiti full time provides lots of stories, and as I tell my husband, our grandkids probably won't believe most of them. Maybe writing them down will give me some credibility.
